Completion of a new concrete step installation, modification of ladder access with safety upgrades, installation of door hardware, and removal of existing piping, all in alignment with client specifications.
Concrete Step Installation
Demolition: Saw-cut and removed asphalt in a 4' x 4' area beneath the new ladder; all debris was cleared from site.
Reinforcement: Installed layer of 10M rebar at 10" centers each way (E/W).
Concrete Placement: Formed and poured a 4' x 4' x 8" concrete step using 25 MPa mix with a broom finish.
Formwork: Formwork removed after curing.
Ladder Modifications
Installed 8' x 8' wire mesh around the lower ladder section and added a hatch handle for improved safety and access.
Hardware Installation
Installed client-supplied door hardware on new silo doors.
Pipe Removal
Removed existing pipe per client instructions and backfilled the void with concrete to ensure structural integrity.
All work was completed to specification, improving overall site safety and accessibility. The concrete step and ladder modifications were seamlessly integrated with the existing infrastructure, and all installations were carried out in accordance with client-supplied materials and instructions.
